Meet behaviorshorty!
What's up, guys! I'm behaviorshorty, but my friends call me Carolyn! I'm a New Englander, born and raised. I've been in the field of ABA for a decade, and a BCBA since 2015. I started Behaviorshorty as a way to disseminate compassionate ABA, call out the red flags, and apply ABA to everyday situations. ABA is everywhere, after all!

I started my career in a clinic setting where I had extensive training in the treatment of severe self-injury and aggression, functional analyses and intensive toilet training. Over the years, I have worked in home, school, and community settings. For the past year, I've had the privilege of working with adults in residential, day program, and vocational training settings as a qualified DDS provider in the state of CT. The other areas of ABA I am passionate about are job training, ACT, mental health, dating and dating/relationship safety.

When I'm not ABA'ing, I'm spending time building forts with my 2 nieces, going on road trips with my friends, making something in the kitchen, and creating a dance floor wherever I go.
